TUSCOLA: Pamela “Suzette” Cook, 59, of Tuscola, passed away Friday, January 18, 2019 after fighting a long battle with COPD. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at First Baptist Church of Tuscola with burial following at the Buffalo Gap Cemetery, Brother DeWayne Bush officiating, directed by Fry~Smith Funeral Home, Tuscola. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm on Monday, January 21, at the Funeral Home.
She was born October 1, 1959 to Mack and Sue Cushing in Fort Worth. She married her best friend, Mike Cook, on a snowy January 1, 1996 in their Tuscola home. Suzette, fiercely loved those close to her . She was the ultimate cowgirl who loved riding horses with her cowboy on the trails. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and treasured Kome to her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Mike Cook of Tuscola; her daughters, Brandy and husband Billy Brown of Fort Worth, Michelle and husband Scott Beaty of Tuscola; mother, Sue Blythe of Abilene, and second mother, Glenda McClure Smith of San Angelo; step-daughter, Destry Cook of Wichita Falls; sister, Sunny Cushing; her grandchildren, Christian, Joshua, Seth, Ella, William, Abbey, Jeremy, and Nathan; and her fur baby, Raven.
She was preceded in death by her father Mack.
