Starr Francis (Burch) Freeland

LAWN: Starr Freeland, 63, passed away Friday March 23, 2018 at a local medical facility. A graveside service will held be at 11:00am, Tuesday March 27, 2018 in the Texas State Veterans Cemetery, Abilene, Mark Moore officiating, directed by Fry~Smith Funeral Home, Tuscola. A visitation will be held on Monday, March 26, from 5 to 7pm at the funeral home in Tuscola.

Starr was born on November 30, 1954 to Armon and Evelyn (Zimmerman) Burch in Las Vegas, New Mexico. She married Eddie Freeland on February 9, 1984 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was a homemaker.

Starr loved her family and to cook and she loved her pets deeply with her horses being amongst her favorite.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years Eddie Freeland of Lawn; sons Armon, Freeland, James Freeland, William Freeland, and Ernest Freeland; sister-in-law Cinda Schamber and husband Bruce; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Loren Burch.
