Robert Lee Gray, born December 28, 1942, answered his call to come to his eternal resting place on September 20, 2018, where he joined his parents Cleburne and Vada Gray and his younger brother C.T. Gray. We can only imagine what a reunion that was!
Robert married the love of his life, Charlene Cary, December 18, 1960. They moved several times throughout Texas until finally settling in Tuscola, where they raised their son, Brett Gray.
Robert was a service manager at Rocket Oldsmobile for many years, until the business closed. He was a faithful employee at Allsup's Convenience Store in Tuscola for 33 years. He was known and loved by everyone in the community. He was a hard worker and always did whatever it took to take care of his family.
Robert was an avid hunter and fisherman, and always told great tales about "the ones that got away". He was a fierce competitor in the sport of Wahoo, and he never took mercy on anyone. He loved a cold Keystone Light, but most of all, he loved his wife, his son, and their cat Rocky.
Robert is survived by his wife, Charlene Gray, son, Brett Gray, two grandchildren Ethan and Hannah Gray, brothers Kenneth Gray and wife Nancy, and Weldon "Shorty" Gray, many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
