Robert Roy Davis

OVALO: Robert Roy "Bake" Davis, 87, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, was called to his Heavenly Father on Friday, October 19, 2018.

He entered this world on January 5, 1931 in Grandfield, OK, born to Ernest and Irene Davis.

He is survived by his son Bobby Davis, daughter-in-law Jenifer Davis; daughter Kae Mercer; daughter Kathy Graham, son-in-law John Graham; son Wesley Davis; granddaughters Amanda Lewis, Laura Davis, Staci Mercer, Morgan Davis, Ashley McKee, Alexa Graham, Christalina Graham, Juliet Graham; grandsons Colt Mercer, Jarris Davis, Dalton Graham, Antonio Graham, Ian Graham, Christian Graham, Brantley Graham; great granddaughter Nicole Mercer, Tuesday McKee; great grandson Nate Mercer, Avery Collum, Cadon Collum, Mason Davis, Landon Davis; and two brothers Jack & Rex Davis.

Robert served in the Army during the Korean War.

He met and married Wanda June Elmore, while roughnecking in Wyoming, who gave him four beautiful children. Wanda preceded him in death after 56 years of marriage.

Moving back to Texas he worked and retired after 30 years from Chevron Oil Company.

The funeral service will be held at Jim Ned Valley Church of Christ at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 22, 2018, followed by a meal with Family and Friends, burial will be in Kermit Texas on Tuesday October 23, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.
