Glenn Carter

Glenn Carter of Buffalo Gap, Texas, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 9 at 11:00 at Buffalo Gap Cemetery.

Glenn was born to George and Bobbie Carter in November of 1939. Growing up he attended Buffalo Gap School with his brothers Clifford and Frank and sister Nita. After his graduation from Wylie High School, he enlisted in the Army. After being honorably discharged, he went to TSTC and received his welding certificate. He spent 34 years as a welding inspector. He was also a long time member of the Church of Christ. After his retirement, he spent his time tinkering in his shop.

He is survived by his sister Nita King and husband David, brother Frank Carter and wife Sharon, and nephew Kyle and wife Holly and nieces Lindsay and Chris Dempsey and Ann-Marie Dustin Berger.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Sandra Jo Carter, and brother Clifford Carter.
