LAWN: Mrs. Peggy Sue Satterwhite, 85, passed away January 18, 2021 after a three-week struggle with COVID 19.
Miss Peggy was born to Arnett Sears Weeks, Sr., and wife Marie (Hudson) Weeks on January 24, 1939. Miss Peggy graduated from Lawn High School in 1954 and was a proud lifelong Lawn Longhorn. She went to work at Timex in Abilene, where she worked until the company left Abilene. She then became a homemaker to her family.
Miss Peggy was a quiet, kind woman, she was skilled seamstress, and great cook known for her chocolate pies, puddings, pinto beans, corn bread, and chili tomato macaroni. She was resilient and survived to different cancers and the loss of her sweet husband, Bobby Satterwhite. She had plans to learn a new skill, quilting and continue to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Miss Peggy is survived by her daughters Cleone McClure and husband Mickey and Hope Green both of Tuscola; grandchildren Michelle Bryant and husband Tommy of Tuscola; Arnett McClure and wife Shasta of Tuscola, Christopher McClure and wife Rachel of Tuscola; Lauren Selzer and husband Asa of Fort Worth; Evan Tarpley and wife of Fort Worth; Alexis Satterwhite of Los Angeles, Ca; Hailey Satterwhite of Corpus Christi, and thirteen great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 1:00pm in the Pavilion at Dewey Cemetery, directed by Fry~Smith Funeral Home, Tuscola.
