Leneta "Skeeter" Willene Griffin

Leneta Willene Griffin, 78, of Abilene, passed away peacefully in her home on November 17, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents Clella Mae Scoggin, JD Scoggin, Cashur Dowell, and she is survived by her children Kimberly and Roger Fulton, Brian and Anita Gary, and Monty and Casey Griffin, her grandchildren Amanda and Al Mosley, Bradan Eudy, Jordan Griffin, Brooklyn Griffin, Samantha Stoneburner, Micaden Griffin, Keggie Griffin, Cree Cree Griffin, also six great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, as well as her siblings Elaine and Rob Bridwell, Linda and Keith Nobel, Sue and Bill Stokes.

She was raised in Buffalo Gap Texas- where she was known as one of four of the Dowell girls. She continued to live in West Texas throughout her life. Her family owned their own business (Griffin Diesel Service) where she played a significant role for many years until she went to work for Communities of Abilene as a clerk for the Audit department for twenty four years before retiring.

Leneta "Skeeter - Gran Gran" was the rock of the family. She enjoyed family get-togethers, cookouts, family reunions, and swim parties with all her loved ones. She was the perfect example of unconditional love to her children, grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren and she will be truly missed by all... Mom - Rest In Peace. Love you Always
