Juanelle was born on September 7, 1929, to Walter Edward and June La Grande (Cumby) Rosson in Runnels County. She was the youngest of three children and the second girl born into the Rosson family.
Juanelle worked for thirty-two years as a secretary in the Midland ISD, her first assignment was with a DeZavala elementary school, from there she transferred to the maintenance department as secretary. She retired from maintenance to care for her mother, June, and then later her son, James.
Her favorite pass time was to watch golf, she was an avid grandchild golf grandmother. Juanelle traveled the state to watch her grandsons play golf, from lessons to tournaments she could be found cheering them on. She was a great cook and enjoyed family dinners, especially holiday meals. She was a Baptist.
She is preceded in death by her parents Walter and June, brother Charles Rosson, and sister Dorothy (Dot) Boone.
She is survived by her sons, James Pursley of San Angelo, Alan Pursley and wife Kathy of San Angelo; grandsons, A.J. Pursley of Huntsville, Derrick and wife Tracey of Odessa; and two great-grandchildren Nick and Kate.
