Jose "Say" Arturo Rios, 38, passed away Monday, February 12, 2018, in Tulia, Texas.
Say was born in San Angelo, Texas on February 16, 1979. Three years later his family moved to Abilene, Texas, where he attended Wylie High School and graduated in the top ten of his class in 1997.
Say worked for several years at the Abilene Country Club where he was given the opportunity to earn his degree as a Chef. He was very passionate about his work and would express it in his food preparation and his ice sculptures. He loved to fish, cook, go on adventures and help out the family.
Say is survived by his parents Jose and Rebecca Rios of Abilene; two brothers, Jesus Alfredo Rios of San Angelo and Juan Antonio Rios and wife Ashley Raquel Rios of Abilene; one sister, Rebecca Alexandra Rios of Abilene; one niece, Gavilynn Ruiz Rios of Abilene.
Say is proceeded in death by his grandfathers' Jesus Flores Trevino and Jose Angel Rios and several uncles.
Pallbearers will be Juan Antonio Rios, Jesus Alfredo Rios, Justin Rogers, Jody Rogers, Phillip Rangel, Clinton Hagler, Jr.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m. with Rosary following at 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 16, 2018, at Fry-Smith Funeral Home, 502 Kent Ave., Tuscola, directed by Fry-Smith Funeral Home, Tuscola. Funeral Mass will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2018, at Lawn Baptist Church, 518 Ave. D, Lawn, Texas.
