John Thomas Hudson

TUSCOLA: John Thomas Hudson, 58, beloved son, brother, and friend passed away, Friday, July 13, 2018, at his home in Tuscola. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2018, in the Cedar Gap Cemetery at 11:00am. Directed by Fry~Smith Funeral Home, Tuscola.

He was born on June 2, 1960 to Richard Hudson and Shirley (Lambert) Hudson Spinks in Abilene.

John was an animal lover, liked flying model airplanes or anything by remote control, and loved fishing with his dog.

He worked many jobs, from tugboats to NASA, with NASA being one of his most favorite.

John loved telling stories of his adventures in life, having a good time with family and friends, and because of his infectious laugh one could not help but to laugh with him.

He is survived by his mother, Shirley Spinks of Tuscola, brother, Dallas Smith of Houston; sisters, Paula Freeman of Tuscola, Lisa Spinks of Tuscola, and Patricia Earnest and husband Darrell of Lawn; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Richard Hudson.
