Dorothy Mae Holcomb

Dorothy Holcomb, 86, beloved Mother and Sister, was called to her eternal resting place on October 11, 2016. She entered this world on February 20, 1930 in Eden, NC, born to Dixie and Alma (Tilley) Holcomb.
Dorothy retired from retail sales. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Buffalo Gap.
She is survived by her sons, Robert Holcomb and wife Ester of Buffalo Gap, Wayne Holcomb and wife Sherry of Abilene, and Timothy Holcomb of Portland, OR; daughters, Brenda Valdez and husband Miguel of Buffalo Gap, and Shirley Lerna of Abilene; sisters, Dixie Mabes and husband Jim of Buffalo Gap, and Doris Massey of Linden; ten grand children and five great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 11:00am in First Baptist Church, Buffalo Gap, officiated by Chuck Gililland, directed by Fry~Smith Funeral Home, Tuscola. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7pm on Friday, October 14, at the funeral home.
