Donnie Albert Maxwell

Donnie Albert Maxwell, 76, was born on January 17th, 1945, and passed away on May 7th, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Ima Maxwell, his brother, George Maxwell, his sister, Mardale Harmes, and grandson Malachi Maxwell.

He is succeeded in life by his wife of 47 years, Janie Maxwell, sons Ricky Maxwell, Randy Maxwell, Robbie Maxwell, Russ Ponder, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a multitude of friends and family.

He served in the Marine Corp, and worked as a welder for over 20 years, as well as a mechanic for the majority of his life. Donnie was well known in the community for his love of animals and machines, as well as his sharp and funny wit. He will be greatly missed and remembered fondly by many.

The family will hold a visitation in his honor on Sunday, May 16th, from 4 to 6 pm at Fry-Smith funeral home in Tuscola, directed by Fry~Smith Funeral Home, Tuscola.
