Donna Gayle (Miller) Gillis

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donna Gillis, age 89, on December 26, 2022. She was born in Hamlin, Texas to the late Ike and Gladys Miller.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: Mitzi Gillis, Suzan (Bob) Newberry, Mari Gillis, Karen (David) Collins and Mike Gillis. The bond she shared with her siblings, Philip Miller, Lynn Fitzgerald, Douglas Miller (deceased), is one for the books. She loved spending time with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They always brought a smile to her face.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bill, of 67 years.

Instead of flowers, we think that Mom would hope that you would do an unexpected and unsolicited act of kindness and think of her.

Services are entrusted to Fry-Smith Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held, Tuesday January 3, 2023 at Elliot Hamil Memorial Gardens beginning at 11am.
