BUFFALO GAP: William (Billy) Charles Perry, 55, passed away suddenly on Wednesday December 16, 2020. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at 4:30pm in the Buffalo Gap Cemetery, Chuck Gililland officiating, directed by Fry~Smith Funeral Home, Tuscola. A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 19, from 5 to 7pm at the funeral home in Tuscola.
Billy was born on August 8, 1965, in Honolulu, Hawaii to Charles Perry and Shelia (Dix) Perry Milliken. He was the seventh of nine children in his family. He graduated from Jim Ned High School in 1984 then went into the Army for the next seven years. He moved back to Buffalo Gap after his tour of duty in the Army.
Billy was the classic bachelor, very well known in his community of Buffalo Gap. He enjoyed helping his friends and neighbors and living a life of peace and happiness. He was best known as a “Jack of all trades and master of none”.
He was an avid gambler and lotto player, loved animals and enjoyed tinkering on just about anything as well as woodworking at his house.
He is survived by his mother, Sheila; brother, Ralph and wife Cathy; sisters, Debbie and husband Jessie, Tammy and husband Glen, Terresa and husband Alan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie, stepmother Veta, stepfather, Bill, brothers, Wayne and Dennis, sisters Karen and Susan, a niece Melissa and his grandparents.
