Billy Ray Lamb, 60, of Tuscola, passed away on May 22, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his family.
Billy Lamb was born on May 5, 1962, to Joye Lovelle and Roscoe "Red" Lamb in Lockhart, Texas. Billy was the fourth oldest out of seven children.
When Billy was 18, he joined the Army. He spent 5 years in the Army before leaving to begin a life on the power lines. He was a jack of all trades and spent time helping his brother in his window washing business. He married the love of his life, Sandy Ballinger, in Abilene, in 1999. They spent many years together.
Billy was active in the church for years. Billy enjoyed playing chess, listening to music, and hanging out with family. Many 4th of July holidays were spent at his house where he would host the biggest firework displays. Stubborn, but also charming, Billy could always manage to make someone smile.
Billy is survived by his daughter, April Lamb (Cash); son-in-law, Aaron Cash; grandchildren: Stephanie, Christopher, Infiniti, and Destini; great-grandsons: Junior, Isaak, and Noah; brothers: Donny Lamb (Stacey) and Johnny Lamb (Michelle); brother-in-law Billy Clarkson; numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends - including James Eckert.
