Auline (Brooks) Daniell

September 27, 1936 — November 19, 2014

Auline Brooks Daniell, 78 died November 19, 2014 in Rockwall, after a battle with cancer.  Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00pm, Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the Tuscola Cemetery, directed by Fry-Smith Funeral Home, Tuscola.  A visitation will precede the graveside service beginning at 12:30pm at the funeral home.

Auline was born on September 27, 1936 in McAlister, New Mexico to parents James C. and Eunice (Boston) Brooks. Most of her life was spent in Abilene where she grew up and then married Nathaniel Carroll Daniell on June 28, 1952.

For several years, Auline ran a successful Day Care out of her home on Dayton Street in Abilene.  Later, she worked for her son, Randy, in his medical office and then was introduced to the computer when she went to work for her other son Craig in his web-site domain business.

In 2006, Auline moved to the Austin area to be closer to her younger grandchildren.  After falling ill with Cancer in May 2014, she moved to Rockwall near her brother Clayton who helped with her care.

Auline wanted her brother to receive a special thanks for his sacrifice while helping with her terminal care.

Auline is survived by her children, Dr. Randy Daniell and wife Dr. Kathy Phillipp of Buffalo Gap, Shala Goertz and husband Jason of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Jana Sitze and husband Cullen of Cedar Park; brothers James Brooks and wife Sarah of Tye, Clayton Brooks and wife Deborah of Rockwall; grandchildren, Kimberly Daniell, Courtney Daniell, Kaylee Daniell, Chad Withers, Zachary Woodard, Chance Woodard, Madison Goertz, Audrey Goertz, Sawyer Seitz, Abigail Seitz, and Bella Seitz.

Preceding her in death were her parents James C. and Eunice Brooks; husband N.C. Daniell; and sons Russell and Craig Daniell; brothers J.P. and Perry Brooks.
