Andrew Allen Jones

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS:: Allen Jones, 81, beloved husband, dad, brother and granddad, was called to his eternal resting place on November 12, 2015. A funeral service will held at First Baptist Church, Buffalo Gap on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 10:30am, Steve Joiner officiating, directed by Fry-Smith Funeral Home Tuscola. A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 15 from 6 to 8pm at the funeral home in Tuscola.
Allen entered this world on July 24, 1934 in San Antonio, born to Andrew and Leora (Baird) Jones.
He grew up and attended school in Novice. Where he played football and basketball. He was an avid Texas High School football fan.
He married his high school sweetheart, Jeanenne Mathews, on July 3, 1953. They moved to Pecos, in 1958 where he was employed with Texaco Inc. until his retirement in 1987.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanenne Jones of North Richland Hills; daughter, Teresa Harp and husband Randy of North Richland Hills; son, James Jones and wife Kathleen of Eldorado, Kanas; sister, Joyce Huddleston of Lubbock; grandchildren, Amy Harp, Matthew Harp and wife Rachelle, Michael Harp, Shayla Swope and husband Shawn, Ashley McWithey and husband Joshawa, and great-granddaughters Monika McWithey and Margaret Harp.
