TUSCOLA: On January 23, 2021, Andera Diane Clements received her wings and went to walk with the angels. She was 36 years old.
Andera was born September 21, 1984 to Milton Darrell Clements and Sherry Ann Insall Scarborough in Abilene, TX. To those of us who knew and loved her so much, she was simply known as “ Andi.”
She was in the graduating class of 2003 at Merkel High School where she greatly enjoyed drama and choir. Earlier in her adult life, Andrea worked as a CNA and Ward Clerk at Hendrick Medical Center. She later worked as a Mental Health Technician and Activities Coordinator at Acadia Psychiatric Center. Andera’s love for her friends and family was boundless. She will always be remembered for her unique sense of humor, quick wit and her playful attitude toward life. She was a true entertainer at heart up until she left this earth. She brought two incredibly strong children into this world, Chloe Grace and Lucas Andrew. Andera loved her children more than anything and they were the most important part of her life. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, parents Milton Darrell Clements and his wife, Lisa; Sherry Ann Insall and husband Richard; her grandmother, Martha Sue Insall; her siblings, Amanda Sue Clements Braden and husband, Jason; brother, Kelby Clements; her nephews, Ryan and Roland; niece, Paisley; step siblings Chance, Nicholas & Zachary Shew; Brandon & Ashley Scarborough. Her very special friend cousins Taylor Insall & Evan Williams. honorary cousin, Dale Hobbs; Andera had many other loving family members and friends.
Andera was preceded in death by her grandparents, George Bruce and Mildred Mary Clements; grandfather, Donald Charles Insall; cousins, Christopher Thomas Insall and Cody Lee Taylor.
A graveside service is scheduled for Wednesday, January 27, at 2:00 pm at the Tuscola, TX cemetery. The service will be officiated by Ryan Holmes. All friends and family are welcome to attend, directed by Fry~Smith Funeral Home, Tuscola. Flowers and condolences may be sent to the funeral home, 502 Kent Ave., Tuscola, TX.
